A while back I received a message asking me to do a video showing how I style my dreadlocks. Instead of a video, I decided to try pictures with written instructions in the captions. I thought that this would be better since it’s easier and less time consuming to edit photos that it is video and saves me from the embarrassment of having to record my voice. However, if you would prefer a video let me know and I can see what I can do. Take into account that all dreadlocks are different, so some of these styles may look better depending on the amount, length and thickness of your dreads. In other words, some styles may look better on you than me or vice versa.
This hairstyle is extremely elementary: Imagine your head is a shoe and your dreads are laces. If your dreads are different lengths like mine you may need bobby pins or clips. Also, please pardon my thick manly arms. When I’m not giving tutorials on dreadlocks, I’m putting bears in headlocks.
